As Partner in Charge – Global Markets, Philip Mandel focuses on international and domestic growth initiatives including the affiliation as an independent member of Nexia. Phil joined the International Board of Directors for Nexia in 2020 and became its Chair in November 2023. He is also the Regional Executive Director and Chair of Nexia’s North America Region and a member of the Nexia Reputation Committee.

As an audit partner, Philip has provided accounting, auditing, tax, and consulting services to broker-dealers, hedge funds, private equity funds, investment management companies, and Registered Investment Advisers
Previous work included auditing year-end financial statements, assessing internal control procedures, and determining the most advantageous tax structures for clients
Philip has been quoted in Accounting Today and was a lecturer on accounting topics for the firm’s in-house continuing professional education curriculum
Served on various committees including the Technology and Operations Steering Committee, Profit Sharing and 401K Plan Fiduciary, and was a champion for the paperless audit initiative
Also served on the Executive Board for nine of the past 12 years as an elected member or ex-officio member
