Flowers joins CohnReznick as ERP Principal

New York, NY – April 3, 2023 – CohnReznick LLP, one of the leading advisory, assurance, and tax firms in the United States, today announced that Shawn Flowers has joined the firm as a Principal in its Technology+ practice. Flowers has extensive experience developing, deploying, and managing all facets of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems across multiple industries including manufacturing, wholesale distribution, pharmaceuticals, software, and financial services.

Flowers brings multifaceted experience building out implementation teams with expertise in implementing advanced NetSuite modules and defined products and processes to allow for sustained growth. He has led projects and teams including a full implementation overseas, a project that built ETO capabilities over NetSuite manufacturing, and projects implementing NetSuite’s revenue recognition feature to meet ASC 606 requirements. Flowers has also provided custom solution designs and managed builds for transfer sales with mark ups and tax requirements within a configured hub distribution environment.

Before joining CohnReznick, Flowers was the Director of NetSuite Enterprise Services for a national consulting firm. In this role, he was responsible for building processes and collateral for all elements of marketing, sales, and service related to the NetSuite practice line. During his tenure with the firm, he built the practice from the ground up and transformed it from a single-person practice to a 22-member team.

Flowers earned his BS, Biomedical Engineering, and MEM, Engineering and Management, from Case Western Reserve University. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and holds a Certified Supply Chain Certification (CSCP). Flowers is certified in NetSuite Foundation, ERP, Administrator, Suite Analytics, and Financial Reporting, and Advanced Manufacturing qualified, as well as holding certifications in Green Belt Six Sigma; Scrum Fundamentals; and HubSpot Inbound Marketing.
