Luxury eyewear marketplace: Payment terms, and working capital modeling and analysis

CohnReznick created custom payment terms financial models for a luxury eyewear marketplace.

Background

A high growth luxury eyewear marketplace struggled to keep up with high working capital requirement and wanted to assess how changing their vendor payment terms could help manage their cash position.

What we did

We built a custom financial model reflecting the various payment terms considered. The analysis was tailored by business line to reflect different vendor agreements.

Results

The analysis enabled the client to secure better terms with their main vendor by demonstrating to them the impact on their ability to grow and generate more business, unlocking $5 million of working capital.
