Andrew G. Sciarra, CPA, joined CohnReznick in 2006 and handles all of the financial aspects of his clients' business including working with compliance issues and tax filings.

He has significant experience providing corporate audit and accounting services for entities in the consumer products, manufacturing and distribution, technology, and construction industries. Andrew also provides his clients with comprehensive business and financial planning. He possesses strong U.S. GAAP reporting experience including expertise in reporting of merger and acquisition transactions. Andrew provides value add recommendations for best business practices related to internal control structure and accounting policies, as well assists clients in adopting new accounting pronouncements.

Andrew is also a member of the firm’s employee benefit plan audit practice and leads the Boston office’s employee benefit plan department. He has experience with a wide variety of defined contribution and defined benefit retirement plan audits. Andrew is proficient with the audit procedures and financial reporting requirements of this specialized audit area and has extensive technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, Internal Revenue Service, and Department of Labor regulations and ERISA reporting requirements.

Andrew completed an international secondment with a Nexia International affiliate in Australia.

He is licensed to practice in Connecticut and Massachusetts.
