Tax consulting services are focused on implementing tax saving strategies that include the R&D tax credit, investment tax credit, production tax credit, accounting method changes, multi-state tax planning including nexus and apportionment analyses, and various international taxation consulting projects for domestic taxpayers operating through controlled foreign corporations
Performs tax structuring and modeling for mergers and acquisitions including liquidations and sales transactions, net operating loss and tax credit utilization studies, due diligence, and teaming with outside legal counsel on transaction structures
Extensive experience in tax compliance and consulting for clients that operate in multiple domestic and international jurisdictions across various entity structures including C-Corporations, partnerships, and S-Corporations
Experience includes accounting for income taxes under ASC 740, implementation and review of ASC 740-10 for uncertain tax positions, and financial reporting for business combinations
