Has assisted his publicly held and private equity-owned clients through a variety of complex accounting issues including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financing, and the adoption of ASC 606, Revenue from Contracts with Customers and ASC 842, Leases
As an audit partner, Jason is responsible for all stages of the audit process including pre-engagement planning, interviews and fieldwork, identifying and resolving financial reporting issues, and presentations to management and shareholders
He is a member of the firm’s Public Company Audit Practice and has been an instructor on technical accounting and audit matters at CohnReznick
Prior to joining CohnReznick, Jason practiced public accounting for more than seven years at another national accounting firm
