Kim Clark Pakstys is a managing director in CohnReznick’s CFO Advisory practice specializing in complex business and finance transformation. She has more than 20 years’ experience serving in board, executive, and consulting roles leading large-scale transformations for Fortune 500, middle market, and public sector clients.
As the leader of the firm’s Finance Transformation practice, Kim provides operational and strategic consulting services to clients, helping them to optimize their businesses, shape portfolios, align resources, operationalize ESG, and mitigate risk. She advises CXOs on developing and implementing solutions that enable growth, efficiency, effectiveness, as well as accelerating acquisition goals and delivering integration synergies.
Kim deploys core competencies in strategic and business planning, merger integration, organization development, change management, process re-engineering, business intelligence, governance, and enterprise systems to support transaction activity. These activities include mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and joint ventures with a focus on integration, optimization, value creation, and synergy initiatives.
Kim has extensive experience working on executive teams to build and integrate venture capital and private equity backed EdTech, cyber, and health IT firms. Additionally, she has advised maturing organizations in the technology, communications, consumer products, industrial, energy, GovCon, aerospace, and professional services industries.
Prior to joining CohnReznick, Kim worked at a Big Four firm; founded, grew, and exited a strategy and operations advisory firm; and served in senior leadership, consulting, operations, P&L, and corporate development positions at global technology firms. Kim began her career in engineering, driving performance improvements using six sigma and quality control methodologies to improve business operations and corporate functions.
Kim has served on the board of directors and advisory boards focused on technology, workforce, health, and education. She was recognized by The Consulting Report as a 2023 top 25 private equity consultant and leaders.
